Five key topics will be shared by the speaker:

  1. Innovation for Market Needs,
  2. Collaborations for Open Innovation,
  3. Strategic Marketing for R&D Commercialization,
  4. Collaborative Innovation Framework,
  5. Hong Kong's Innovation System

Innovation is an essential pillar for sustainable growth in today’s fast-changing marketspace.  “Market-driven Innovation” is a transformative approach to guide R&D and new product development from outside-in perspective (instead of inside-out) based on market needs (including customers’ unspoken needs and latent needs). This approach enables innovation organizations (in enterprises, universities, and research institutes) to “Do Right Things” (strategic direction) and then “Do Things Right”   (effective execution) for achieving growth mission via strategic marketing process and collaborative innovation framework within the Hong Kong’s innovation system.
