Programme Director Dr Thomas Ng
Dr Thomas Ng is a programme director at HKUSPACE, and teaches the Business Associations component of the Certificate in Legal Studies. He has also taught on many other law courses at HKU SPACE, and is happy to answer any questions you may have about studying law.

Free law class
You are invited to attend a free law class for the Certificate in Legal Studies and experience the passion of our teachers, and the great opportunities you'll find as a HKU SPACE law student.
Topic: The revolutionary decision of Salomon v Salmon & Co Ltd [1897] AC 22 serves as the bedrock of modern company law. In this sample class, we will discuss the doctrine of ‘separate legal personality’ as well as a selected sample of judicial exceptions.
