With her experience in running Business Language Testing Service (BULATS) Tests in Hong Kong, Ms Kak has worked with Cambridge Assessment English in the past year in the transition of the former BULATS Test to its upgraded version: Linguaskill Business and Linguaskill General. As the first univesity's teaching arm in Hong Kong given the right to run Linguaskill Tests, Ms Kak will share with online netizens on how taking Linguaskill Tests help private individuals in their study, career and immigration plans, and as for corporates, how Linguaskill Tests help evaluating, screening, recruiting, promoting, ranking, training and developing their employees according to their English language proficiency.

The talk aims to introduce a new online English proficiency test - Linguaskill. HKU SPACE is the first amongst the universities and their affiliates in Hong Kong granted the centre right to run Linguaskill Tests in Hong Kong. Linguaskill has been approved by the Labour and Welfare Bureau as a benchmark test in support of claimants’ application for Continuing Education Fund (CEF) reimbursements.
The School may make available related programme information material at the seminar.
