Ms Bianca Chong
Bianca Chong is a Hong Kong jewellery and accessories designer. Coming from a fashion design background, her distinct aesthetic lives at the intersection of fashion, art, and jewellery. Following her enthusiasm for wearable objects, she obtained her MA in Fashion Artefact from the London College of Fashion. Her final collection was composed of a combination of organic materials like wood and leather, together with contemporary architectural elements like avonite, in a mechanical way that allows the user to compose motion and interact with the accessories. This collection gained the interest of press and fashion insiders, and she entered three categories in the International Talent Support Competition held in Italy, collaborating with YKK, Samsung and Swatch for innovative projects. With her mechanical bag design, she was announced the 2015 YKK Fastening award winner in the International Talent Support competition in Trieste, Italy. Bianca is the Founder of the Hong Kong originated jewellery label Answer B.
Ms Kiri Cheng
Kiri CHENG is studying Bachelor of Arts (Honours) International Business Management, a keen learner who had 19 years of working experiences in jewellery business involving diamonds and gems acquisition, assessment, verification, and design. Kiri is the Assistant Officer working at Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Company Limited managing diamond acquisition inventory management for the registered brand Hearts On Fire and original materials acquisition, price setting, quality ranking & vetting, customer order project management in the gem business. Kiri was the Merchandising Executive at Cindy Chao The Art Jewel. She was the Gemologist & Grader at Gemological Science e International HK Ltd. (GSI) to ensure the precision and quality of the grading processes and machines, and she had experience in certifying the genuinity of diamonds and precious stones..

The Gemologist and Jewellery Design Specialist work on precision and excel in their professional techniques persistently, while their daily operations require high sensitivities in market trends and tran saction skills At this sharing session, Bianca and Kiri will share their standards in work ethics and their passion for teaching as part time lecturers at HKU SPACE in recent years We also welcome you to exchange ideas on brand management and aesthetics in high end jewellery.
