Following our 2015 & 2017 study tours to Edinburgh, it is our third time to collaborate with Edinburgh Napier University (ENU) to organise a fun and educational summer study programme to Edinburgh, Scotland in August 2025 for 7 days! This study tour programme has two new themes of "Scotch Whisky" and "Scotch Culture" If you wish to understand more about the Scottish unique culture, and have a TASTE of Scotland in different perspectives, join us!
This study tour consists of two parts:
(A) 3 hours Pre-departure workshop at HKU SPACE: 25 July, 7-10 pm
- Ice-breaking
- Introduction to geography, weather, and basic information of Scotland and Edinburgh
- Introduction to the itinerary and preparation for the stay
- Introduction to events and festivals in Edinburgh
- Introduction to Scotch Whisky and Tastings
(B) 7 days Educational Tour in Edinburgh: 3 - 9 Aug
1. Have a Taste of Scotch Whisky and Craft Beer
You will visit four famous Whisky Distilleries and one Craft Beer Brewery in Scotland, understand the whisky & craft beer production process, and appreciate the taste of different Scottish Whiskys (such as Johnnie Walker, Macallan, Glenfiddich and Port of Leith Distillery) and Craft Beer at Stewart Brewing!

3. Experience the world-famous festivals in August:
You will be able to secure a ticket of the spectacular the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and enjoy two paid shows at Edinburgh Festival Fringe! Besides, during your visit, you can also take part in other August festivals, e.g. Edinburgh International Festival, Edinburgh Art Festival, Edinburgh International Book Festival and Edinburgh International Film Festival. For festival and event lovers, they cannot miss all these incredible top class cultural events with performers from all over the world!

4. Experience student life at Edinburgh Napier University!
You have a precious chance to experience being a 'university student', as you can attend classes in both Hong Kong and Edinburgh in two campuses of ENU, and stay in the most recent student accommodation!
