“Cheek Acupuncture Therapy” is a new acupuncture technique that involves needling specific acupoints on the cheeks to treat systemic diseases. Developed by Professor Wang Yongzhou, it integrates years of clinical experience and is based on holographic theory, the theory of the triple burner, and the concept of mind-body integration. It identifies 16 unique cheek acupoints, primarily using needling to treat disorders related to the organs, muscles, and bones. This lecture will focus on introducing the names, locations, indications, clinical applications, and specialized needling techniques of these 16 acupoints. Understanding and learning this innovative acupuncture technique will enhance the ability to better serve patients.
