Highlights

This 9-hour workshop helps participants who need to enhance their social English for communication with English-speaking clients and/or colleagues.  Participants will learn how to make smalltalk and socialise in work situations and learn useful expressions to build their confidence to chat when they meet people for work.

Details

This is a useful workshop for getting tips for making smalltalk, learning techniques for improving pronunciation and listening skills, and having many opportunities to practise speaking English and develop fluency.  In addition, participants will read many examples of useful short conversations and learn how to use plenty of topics to ensure how to start conversations, use various types of ice-breakers, and also continue conversations.  Participants will be encouraged to respond to what others say in a variety of ways, and use intonation, emphasis and word-linkage to make their English sound more natural and confident.
