Welcome to Register for the Preparatory Workshop for OLQE 2025 (Head I - Conveyancing)
 

This workshop provides comprehensive instruction in the fundamental principles of land law, as well as the law and practice of conveyancing in Hong Kong. It covers both the substantive legal framework and the procedural aspects of conveyancing transactions. Participants will be trained to analyse practical problems by identifying legal issues, applying relevant legal principles, offering appropriate practical advice, and drafting or amending conveyancing documents accordingly.

The workshop comprises a total of 27 instructional hours, delivered through nine sessions of three hours each. These sessions will be conducted on an intensive basis during October.

The first six sessions will be structured as knowledge seminars, focusing on key examinable topics in the Conveyancing Head of the OLQE—such as Deed of Mutual Covenant (DMC), completion, priority of interests, and giving and proving title. The final three sessions will consist of mock examinations and detailed review sessions, designed to consolidate understanding and enhance exam readiness.
