She is also skilled in applying natural, non‑invasive approaches—such as pet aromatherapy and massage—to gently address a wide range of pets’ physical and emotional needs, with the aim of enhancing their overall quality of life. In addition, Carrie is actively involved in public education and has been invited to deliver workshops at shopping malls, organisations, and schools. Through sharing accurate pet care knowledge and promoting empathy towards animals, she has made meaningful contributions to the development of the pet care industry and the wider community.

Certificate for Module (Essential Skills for Pet Dog Daily Care)

Over the past decade, as feelings of loneliness have intensified and birth rates have declined, the demand for pet adoption has continued to grow, and public perceptions of the social and familial roles and importance of pets have shifted. For example, millennials use pets as a way to practise parenthood, and some even directly substitute pet care for having children. Older generations, meanwhile, seek comfort in pets to cope with empty nest syndrome after their adult children leave home. This transformation from being pet owners to becoming “pet parents” has raised expectations for caring for “fur babies” and has driven rapid growth in demand for premium pet products and services, extending into various sectors such as high-end pet care, restaurants, hotels, and tourism. The seminar will explore and share the roles and responsibilities of pet parents, as well as the potential pathways for pet owners to transition into providers of premium pet services.
