We explore one of life’s greatest puzzles: the paradox of desire. Why do we fall for the 'wrong' person, chase empty status, or repeat habits that leave us exhausted? To understand this, we have to look at how the unconscious mind works. Sigmund Freud explained this phenomenon through the lens of the 'repetition compulsion.' Are there any insights to be found in these theories? Can they help us better understand ourselves?
