This talk walks through the basic toolkit of human identification—fingerprints and palmprints, dental and implant records, skeletal estimation of age, sex and stature, and newer digital traces—then shows where forensic anthropology takes over when soft tissue is gone. Viewers will see how classroom methods on HKU SPACE programmes are used in real identification work, what a biological profile can and cannot claim, and why “letting the remains speak” still depends on careful, defensible science rather than television shortcuts.
