Experiencing HKU Hall Culture: A Deep Exchange Journey for Chinese Mainland Students
In April 2023, the Chinese Mainland university students had a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the hall culture of the University of Hong Kong (HKU). They delved into the rich history and traditions of the residence halls, engaging in lively interactions with hall tutors and students. HKU SPACE went the extra mile by arranging for these Chinese Mainland students to attend HKU's prestigious high table dinner. This event allowed them to gain a deep appreciation of hall life and the ceremonial aspects of the dinner.
Through this meaningful exchange, the students not only embraced the spirit and traditions of HKU but also forged strong bonds and friendships with their peers from Hong Kong. This experience was a testament to the power of cultural exchange in fostering understanding and camaraderie between students from different backgrounds.
