On 29 April 2026, the University of London (UOL) held its annual “Recognised Teaching Centre Symposium”. Professor William K.M. Lee, Director of HKU SPACE, and Dr John Cribbin, Deputy Director (Academic Services) of HKU SPACE, represented partner institutions from Hong Kong at the event. Themed around “Strengthening Partnerships Through Change and Innovation”, the symposium convened over 100 representatives from the UOL and 40 accredited partner institutions globally to explore innovation and the future landscape of international higher education. During the session on “Case Studies of Recognised Teaching Centres”, Professor Lee and Dr Cribbin shared insights into the School's delivery of University of London programmes. They highlighted the School's commitment to providing lifelong learning opportunities for learners while showcasing the School's substantial value as a recognised teaching centre affiliated with the UOL.
