On 27 -28 February 2025, Mainland Affairs Office of HKU SPACE, paid a two-day in-depth visit to education institutions in Guangzhou. The focus of the visit was on the integration of education resources in the Greater Bay Area, and the exploration of innovative cross-boundary talent cultivation models.

Institutions visited included Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Guangdong Open University’s Credit Bank Administration Centre, and other educational institutions. During the visit, MAO elaborated on HKU SPACE's operations and achievements in the field of continuing education, highlighting the school's internationalized education ecosystem and its strategic cooperation network with other overseas institutions. At the same time, through the visit and exchanges, the school will further explore the innovative mode of talent cultivation between Guangdong and Hong Kong.

HKU SPACE will continue to capitalize on Hong Kong's advantages as an international education hub and the school’s strengths as a leader in professional and continuing education to provide strong support for the cultivation of talents in the Greater Bay Area with an international outlook and complexity.
