HKU SPACE signs MOU with Edith Cowan University of Australia

HKU SPACE and Edith Cowan University (ECU) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on 17 October 2018 to establish strategic partnerships and further develop the programme collaboration between the two institutions. The programmes under consideration include cyber-security and social science programmes etc. The MOU signing ceremony was held at ECU campus and the MOU was signed by Professor William K.M. Lee, Director of HKU SPACE and Professor Steve Chapman, Vice-Chancellor of ECU.

Professor Lee and Professor Chapman exchanged souvenirs after the signing of the MOU, and visited the campus at ECU.  

Established in 1991, ECU is located in Perth, Western Australia and is one of the five universities in Western Australia. Its eight Schools collectively deliver more than 250 diverse courses across Medical & Health Sciences, Engineering, Education, Arts & Humanities, Business & Law, Nursing & Midwifery, Science and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. It has grown rapidly into a quality university with excellent student satisfaction and internationally recognised research.

Other than this MOU, the School recently has signed MOU with different strategic international partners, including University of Newcastle of Australia, and various partners from UK such as University of Essex, University of Ulster and University of London etc. with an aim to enhance the portfolio of transnational courses.
