The Board of Directors of HKU SPACE is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor William Lee as the seventh Director of the School in succession to Professor C. F. Lee starting from mid-2015.

Professor William Lee is currently the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) and was previously Associate Vice-President (Academic Affairs) and Registrar at Lingnan University. 

Speaking of the appointment, Professor Edward K. Y. Chen, Chairman of the Board of HKU SPACE, said, “Prof. William Lee has wide experience as an academic and as a leader in higher education. The Board of Directors welcomes the appointment unanimously.”

Prof. Edward Chen, on behalf of the Board, also expresses his gratitude for the service of Professor C. F. Lee, said, “with Prof. Lee’s sincere dedication and outstanding leadership in extending the horizon of the School and facilitating the development of continuing education, we deeply appreciate his contribution to our School and wish him a jovial retirement life.”
