The School is aware of discussions on unofficial online platforms regarding our School community.
The School does not manage or endorse discussions on external platforms and is not responsible for content shared outside official channels.
In line with the School’s policies on community conduct, including our HKU SPACE Social Media Page Guidelines and our public terms of conduct that govern our official social media platforms (collectively the “Social Media Guidelines”), please be reminded to:
- Maintain Constructive & Respectful Communication
– Engage in courteous and professional interactions at all times, both online and offline.
– Avoid unfounded allegations or disrespectful conduct, which may breach the School policies, violate community standards and applicable laws. The School reserves the right to report unlawful online behaviour to relevant authorities. - Use Official Channels for Feedback
– Raise concerns or grievances through formal school platforms to ensure proper documentation and resolution. - Respect School Branding
– The School’s name and logo are protected intellectual property. Always obtain approval before using the School’s name and logo on any platform. Unauthorised use of the School’s name and logo to imply endorsement is strictly prohibited and will result in legal action.
While the School does not monitor private social media groups, we remind everyone to engage in constructive and responsible online behaviour. Unauthorized use of the School's name and logo to imply endorsement is prohibited. Unfounded allegations or disrespectful behaviour may lead to legal action under applicable laws.
