Students of HKU SPACE Postgraduate Diploma in Media and Cultural Critique have joined a guided tour to the Nobuyoshi Araki (荒木經惟) "THE FIRST" exhibition, curated by Apportfolio, in March 2019 at Central. The exhibition highlighted women images through the lens of Nobuyoshi Araki, as well as his first ever sculptures inspired by his childhood.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Media and Cultural Critique students are taking a module called Visualising Culture at HKU SPACE this semester. Through the guided tour, they learn better the meanings and structures of visual culture and understand more about how cultural meanings are articulated, interpreted and communicated through different forms of visual cultural displays.
