Open SPACE, the School’s annual open day, was held on 1 June. More than 2,600 visitors turned up to hear over 60 talks covering topics from Languages to Professions, and from the Arts and Culture, to Health and Social Sciences.
The highlight of the event was the keynote talk “How 5G Impact Our Everyday Life”.
The School was delighted to welcome guest speakers Mr Emil Chan from the Smart City Consortium, and Mr Ivan Leung from SmarTone Mobile Communication Limited to share their insights on the applications and implications of 5G technology. Participants joined in the discussion in a warm and engaging atmosphere.
Other popular sessions included “Problems Encountered by Cantonese Speakers Learning English”, “Siddham Calligraphy”, “Tui-Na”, and “AI & Big Data”. There was also a “Facebook & IG Game Booth”. All were well received by participants who learned more about the School’s new courses and enjoyed some interactive time.
