Open Day 2026: Embracing AI, Shaping the Future

 

The School successfully hosted its annual OPEN SPACE Open Day on 6 June 2026 in a hybrid format, attracting strong participation from individuals seeking to navigate emerging opportunities in the AI-driven era.

Three keynote talks distinguished speakers shared insights across education, technology and communication:

  • Legislative Council Member Tang Fei outlined Hong Kong’s education direction under the 15th Five-Year Plan
  • Google Cloud’s Michael Yung examined how AI is reshaping privacy, productivity and learning
  • Ms Jennifer Shum and Dr Rosa Kwok discussed applying counselling techniques to enhance workplace and family communication

Seven thematic areas, over 80 seminars were delivered, covering: AI & Technology | Business & Finance | Language & Culture| Lifestyle | Professional Development | Mind & Body Wellness | DSE Study Planning

The event received an enthusiastic response, with over 1,300 in-person attendees and garnered over 12,000 online views on the day.
