Life at HKU SPACE Our Stories

The School has been commissioned by the Chinese Medicine Development Fund to provide two training programmes—Healthcare Administration and Hospital Management in Chinese Medicine, and Medico-legal Liability for Individuals and Institutions—to meet the talent needs of The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong. These initiatives support the hospital’s growth and the development of Chinese medicine in Hong Kong, representing a significant step for the School in cultivating professionals in the field.

Both courses will officially commence in January 2026, with enrolment currently underway. The inaugural meetings of the Programme Advisory Committees were held on 25 and 26 November 2025 respectively. The attendee lists are as follows:

The School looks forward to the smooth rollout of the programmes under the guidance of experts and with strong support from the industry. The programmes will train Chinese medicine professionals with strong theory and broad perspective to support the Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong and the field’s future development.
