I write to express my appreciation of Mr. Lau who was the tutor of the 6-week part time course entitled “Principles and Practice of Negotiation Skills” which ran from 13 November to 18 December 2021.

I was a student of the course.  I really appreciate Mr Lau’s lively introduction and explanation of the negotiation theories, which has not only made me remember them easily, but also enabled me to develop a keen interest in negotiation.  In order to help students put the theories in practice, Mr. Lau, together with his helper, came up with real-life negotiation scenarios with consideration of the different background of the students.  Through participating in the exercises, students were provided with immediate constructive feedback from Mr. Lau who selflessly shared his negotiation knowledge; and encouraged students to negotiate and communicate in a smart way.

I am grateful that HKU SPACE organized this course; and for Mr. Lau’s sincere efforts and professionalism for making the course practical, inspiring and enjoyable.  Thank you.
