Back to Main PageAbout Us
Background
Since 2019, the Education Bureau has commissioned our institution to organize a Chinese language support program for non-Chinese speaking kindergarten students. This program aims to provide professional support to kindergartens in Hong Kong that admit non-Chinese speaking students, enhance teachers' knowledge and strategies in teaching Chinese as a second language to non-Chinese speaking students and improve their ability in second language teaching skills.
In addition to providing a professional On-site mode for 17 local kindergartens and kindergarten-cum-nursery schools (including schools that admit non-Chinese speaking students), the project will also add an network support mode and invite 10 local schools to participate in the Network mode. Organize no less than 3 joint school online activities to allow 27 schools in on-campus and online modes to study together to promote experience sharing and professional exchanges, thereby strengthening knowledge dissemination and consolidating results.
