His academic interests and studies focus on linguistics, translation, lexicography and drama in education. Over the years, he has particularly concentrated on the application of psychology and psycholinguistics in language acquisition and memory enhancement. In the classroom, he will typically include a variety of appropriate language games and encourage interaction; outside the classroom, he will spend his time devising more games and ways to meet the needs of every single student.

Films are an invaluable source of grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. This course trains students to get the most out of watching movies. You will learn to recognise fast speech patterns, hear vocabulary in everyday context, understand how tenses are used and present your ideas in a relaxed, confident way. You will act out situations that relate to each movie: you might be a great magician, a French cook, a diamond thief, a stammering king, a heroic doctor or even a revengeful ghost! Then at home, just watch the rest of each film and apply everything you have learnt in class.
The School may make available related programme information material at the seminar.
The School reserves the right to alter or modify the schedule of the event if necessary or expedient.
