Having taught English in Hong Kong over the last two decades, Mr Alex Stringer has developed his fond in using open resources (from the Internet) to make learning English more fun and handy. Come on the 3rd of June and learn how to expand your vocabulary for more effective communication.

Having a limited vocabulary is a major barrier to expressing yourself and understanding others. It also discourages non-native speakers from exploring the fascinating world of English-language media.
In this talk, Alex Stringer shows how a little knowledge can help you deduce the meaning of words, allowing you to increase your vocabulary and take your reading and listening to a higher level.
This event will include online activities for you to do on your phone, for which prizes will be given.
