Ms LIANG Weichun

Ms Liang Weichun has many years of experience teaching Putonghua. She teaches various Putnghua-related courses such as PSC pre-test training courses and Putonghua certificate courses at the HKU SPACE. Ms. Liang has taught at the Employees Retraining Board, The Cultural and Educational Association of the New Towns. She actively participates in social service activities to promote Putonghua and has served as the chief judge of the Chinese Language Festival Pinyin category and the chairman of the judging committee for Putonghua Public Speaking Competition for Primary and Secondary Schools organized by the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) for many years, and provided PSC training for the winners of the competition.

"Are you familiar with PSC? If we treat PSC as a game, how can we pass and upgrade? The National Putonghua Proficiency Test (PSC) has been held in Hong Kong for more than 25 years. With the objective needs of social development, more and more Hong Kong people are actively participating in this test and hoping to achieve good results. In September 2023, the National Language Commission issued a new version of the “Implementation Outline of the Putonghua Proficiency Test”. In 2024, the Putonghua Proficiency Test will be conducted under the new “Outline” for the first time. Are you ready? This talk will explain and analyze the test content, scope, question types, and scoring system of PSC, deepening your understanding of PSC through interactive forms.
