Mr Thomas Spitzer

Mr Thomas Spitzer is a native German teacher from Berlin. Having worked in Hong Kong for around 20 years, Mr. Spitzer has fruitful teaching experience in teaching the German language and culture for both beginners and advanced learners in different institutions and universities. To promote the German language and culture, he has organised workshops and given talks in various fields such as tourism, history and economic development.

The Bauhaus school, founded by architect Walter Gropius in 1919, was a German art school operational after World War I, aiming to merge art and technology to create functional yet aesthetically appealing designs. Despite the Nazis’ pressure to close down in 1933, the Bauhaus Movement is upheld as an art which has radically changed the modern design landscape worldwide.
