Professor Yang Rui
Professor Yeung Yui received his PhD from the University of Sydney in 2001 and is currently Dean and Chair Professor of the Faculty of Education at the University of Hong Kong. He was the Director of Comparative Education Research Centre at the University of Hong Kong and Chairman of Comparative Education Society of Hong Kong. Enjoying renowned international reputation, he has established extensive academic networks in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other Asian countries and regions. Professor Yeung Yui has a distinguished academic career spanning more than 36 years. His research focuses on Chinese and Western educational traditions and their modern transformation, educational policy, sociology of education, comparative and cross-cultural studies in education, international higher education, educational development in Chinese societies, and international politics in educational research. He has published over 70 book chapters and more than 200 articles in Chinese and English journals, including dozens of papers in SSCI journals. His latest book The Chinese Idea of a University: Phoenix Reborn (Hong Kong, Hong Kong University Press, 2022) is the first in English to systematically explore the theme. His monograph Third Delight: Internationalization of Higher Education in China (New York: Routledge, 2002) is still one of the most important English works on China's higher education internationalization.
Professor Chen Dong Min
Professor Chen Dong Min currently serves as the Executive Deputy Director and Director of the Industrialization Committee of the Guangdong Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory, as well as the General Manager of the Songshan Lake Science and Technology Development Company. Professor Chen is a professor at the Academy of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies at Peking University, and the Co-Director of the Peking University Center for Innovation in Emerging Strategic Industries. Professor Chen is a serial entrepreneur from Silicon Valley. He previously served as scientist and senior executive in various companies in Silicon Valley. Professor Chen's academic expertise lies in Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) and systems, Resistive Random-Access Memory (RRAM), big data, and artificial intelligence applications.
Professor Aliana Leong Man Wai
Professor Aliana Leong is currently the Associate Vice President (International Affairs), Dean, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). She is a member of the Advisory Committee of the M.U.S.T. Foundation. From 2011 to 2019, she served as Vice chairperson of the University Council, Doctoral Supervisor, Chair Professor, and Founding Vice President in City University of Macau where she founded and supervised three faculties (Faculty of International Tourism and Management, Faculty of Education and School of Continuing Studies) and two research institutes. From 2003 to 2011, she founded and served as the Professor, Doctoral supervisor and Dean of the Faculty of International Tourism and the Director of the Faculty of Continuing Studies in M.U.S.T. Her research interests include tourism management, leisure management and hospitality management.
Professor Cao He Ping
Professor Cao He Ping is a renowned economist and professor at Peking University, where he serves as a doctoral supervisor at the School of Economics and the Vice Dean of the Digital China Research Institute. He is also the Director of the Green Finance Branch of the China Environmental Science Society, a frequent commentator on CCTV's Financial Channel, and a consultant for provincial capital cities, contributing to the development of national central cities. His research focuses on development economics and development finance theory.
Dr Yang Tan
Dr Yang has extensive experience in international mergers and acquisitions, post-investment management, business strategy, and operations. He has previously led and completed China's largest cross-border healthcare M&A project, with a total transaction value exceeding US$9 billion and was fully responsible for post-investment management of the invested company. Prior to that, he held a number of non-executives’ roles in listed companies in different countries. Dr Yang holds a Ph.D. in Management studies from the University of Oxford and is an honorary advisor to Oxford University, member of Oxford University China Advisory Committee, a Distinguished Friend of Oxford University, and a director of the Hong Kong Chinese Financial Association.
Dr Grace Ling Yu Shih
Dr Ling Yu Shih used to be a member of the 13th CPPCC National Committee and was elected by Hong Kong Election Committee as a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress in 2023. She is also a member of the Education Commission of the HKSAR Government, and the consultant for Chinese traditional Culture Program, Institute of Curriculum of Ministry of Education of China. Dr Ling got her PhD from the University of Hong Kong. She is very concerned about moral education and the growth of young people, actively shouldering the mission of reviving Chinese traditional culture, and taking it as her duty to invigorate China and promote national unity.
Mr Cao Chang Lin
Member of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Deputy Director of Digital Economy Innovation Committee of China Information Economics Society; Top 10 Copyright Holders in China. He has led the operation of education and cultural industries in Southern Daily Group, studied the integration of digital economy and technology, and served as an innovation and entrepreneurship tutor. As a co-sponsor of high-end think tanks, he has provided industrial decision-making consulting for governments, bringing together experts to support industrial development and digital transformation. To implement the Belt and Road Initiative, he has collaborated with renowned universities worldwide to cultivate degrees in art, management, design, and digital transformation.
Mr Kwok Yat Ming
He is the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Journalists and Senior Advisor to the Chairman of Kingrich Asia Holdings Ltd Group. He was also the Senior Advisor to Chairman of Henderson (China) Investment Co. Ltd., and has worked for a number of news organizations, including the editor-in-chief of Sing Pao Daily News, the editor-in-chief of Hong Kong Daily News, and the commentator of Phoenix TV. He has been appointed as a part-time or visiting professor at Central China Normal University, Jinan University, Huaqiao University and other universities, as well as a visiting professor at the Hong Kong Institute of Financial Management.
