  • Mr William Cheng (Medical Laboratory Technologist)

Mr William Cheng

Mr William Cheng has served as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in the Hospital Authority in the Anatomical and Cellular Pathology Department for over 25 years, amassing extensive professional experience. Beyond histopathology and cytology, he has worked in various departments, including the blood bank, chemical pathology, haematology, and microbiology, accumulating broad medical and pathological knowledge and practical skills. Additionally, Mr. Cheng has served as Chemical Safety Officer for many years, demonstrating deep familiarity with chemical safety and storage regulations. He is also a committee member of the Hong Kong Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences Quality Assurance Programme (HKIMLSQAP), responsible for ensuring the quality assurance of laboratory results in both public and private sectors in Hong Kong.
