IELTS Test Focus Skill Preparation Workshop Series

This series aims to help participants who wish to boost their IELTS Test (academic module) scores. It comprises four 4-hour workshops, each providing focused practice on one specific skillset: Listening, Academic Reading, Academic Writing or Speaking. 

For Workshop 1 which focuses on Listening, topics include:

• learn useful active listening strategies.
• practise on a range of native English accents, including British, North American and Australian.  
• test yourself with timed practice in monologues about an everyday topic and an academic context, and dialogues between two people about an everyday topic in a training or educational context.      
• take part in timed mock test and get feedback.

Teaching Staff

Instructors of the course are drawn from our panel of qualified and experienced English language teachers. Some of them are native speakers; others are local teachers with native speaker competence.
 

Applicants should note:

• Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
• Unless changes are made to the advertised details, we do not usually issue joining instructions. If your application has been accepted, you should go to the first session of the class at the time and place shown.
• No refunds or transfers to a different class will be approved. 
• Applicants should have  a CEFR B1+ or above English language proficiency.
