This talk will examine the latest pharmaceutical and medical device regulatory developments in the Greater Bay Area (GBA), with a focus on opportunities and challenges for industry and healthcare providers, Macau’s emerging medical device legislation and its alignment with mainland and Hong Kong standards will be discussed, alongside practical implications for market access and compliance. Finally, the talk will review major GBA measures facilitating “Hong Kong– and Macau-registered” drugs and devices to serve patients across the GBA, and explore how cross-border regulatory collaboration is shaping a more integrated, innovation-friendly ecosystem.
