Building upon the 2019 presentation of 'The Confucian Poetry of Master Swordsman Yagyu Muneyoshi,' this sequel examines the legacy of Yagyu Muneyoshi's fifth son, Yagyu Munenori. As the swordsmanship teacher and strategist to the early Tokugawa Shogunate, Munenori’s philosophy—detailed in his book Heiho Kaden Sho and his correspondence with Takuan Soho—transformed martial discipline into a profound framework for statecraft through the concept of Katsunin-ken.
