HKU SPACE and Carbon Care Asia Limited signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on 14 August 2019 to establish strategic partnership and launch the new “Certificate for Module (Climate Competence)” and “Certificate for Module (Sustainability Professionals)” courses. The MOU signing ceremony was held at HKU SPACE and the MOU was signed by Professor William K.M. Lee, Director of HKU SPACE and Ir Albert Lai, Chief Executive Officer of Carbon Care Asia Limited.

The Certificate for Module (Climate Competence) course is designed to let students gain an in-depth understanding of the climate change challenges and form a broad and balanced view of the relationship between science, the economics and the politics of climate change. The Certificate for Module (Sustainability Professionals) course is designed to equip students with solid knowledge and practical skills in formulating sustainability strategies, addressing risks and capturing opportunities, with a view to build personal capacity for innovative leadership on corporate sustainability.
