University of London
Being able to study a Banking and Finance degree under the lead college of London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in Hong Kong has been particularly rewarding for me. I am so pleased that I could graduate with First Class Honours. This programme is well organised and structured for students - in my first year of study I was exposed to a certain amount of fundamentals through LSE materials, and in the second and third year I was able to choose electives that matched with my personal interests. The programme certainly provides advanced academic content both from a theoretical and practical point of view, which ranges across, for example, learning sophisticated and complicated instruments that banks use in daily operations, using complex econometrics tools and concepts to analyse data points, as well as measuring the current economy within a country at a macro level. All in all, the programme gives students a good insight in both fields of banking and finance, and I am amazed that how the programme pushed me to the boundaries in learning a significant amount of knowledge within these fruitful three years.
