On 18 January 2025, HKU SPACE organised a Russian trial lesson, where not only could the participants learn the very basics like "Привет" (hello; /privet/), but they were given the opportunity to explore the cultural bits and break some stereotypes with our experienced, native teacher in a fun and interactive way.
Learning Russian will allow you to communicate with more than 250 million people worldwide, opening doors for you not just in Russia, but also in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Lithuania, etc. Besides, Russia is home to some of the world’s finest art traditions such as ballet, theater, literature and music. There are more than 29 UNESCO World Heritage sites throughout Russia, and The Golden Ring is a popular tourist route through the country.
