Mr Alvin Wong, Co-founder of Urban Sketchers Hong Kong

Mr Alvin Wong is the co-founder of Urban Sketchers Hong Kong and a committee member of the international Urban Sketchers. Alvin held exhibitions of his works between 2013 to present at private and public galleries in Hong Kong. He has given lectures and workshops on the topics of architecture design, architecture presentation, freehand drawings and urban sketching at various educational institutions. Alvin is currently hosting a radio program on art, history and architecture.

Urban Sketching, where artist practices on- location sketching, is a new worldwide phenomenon and growing rapidly.  This workshop will introduce to the art of Urban Sketching with helpful techniques to help participants adapt to this wonderful life-long hobby. Students will also learn the basics of capturing a view on-location, methods to approach a sketch and ways to have fun with the sketching technique.
