“You compete how you eat!” What an athlete eats and drinks has an effect on exercise performance. Sport nutrition is a growing field in Hong Kong and worldwide. The role of sports nutritionist has become internationally recognized. This seminar will introduce the features and characteristics of the newly launched MSc in Sport and Exercise Nutrition, offered by HKU SPACE and Ulster University, UK. This course provides flexible blended-learning mode and will enable students to gain the evidence-based knowledge and skills needed to become an expertise in sports nutrition. Graduates are eligible to join the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr), the professional register for qualified sports and exercise nutritionists in the UK. This seminar is suitable for those with an interest in sport nutrition such as nutritionists, coaches, sport scientists and athletes.
