Mr Christopher Sykes

Christopher Sykes is an alumnus of Manchester Law School who later on qualified as a solicitor specialising in criminal defence. His expertise is in innovation in law, and in the education of future lawyers who has recently been appointed as the Deputy AI Lead for the Faculty of Business & Law.

MMU Masterclass Series: Discussions around Technology and the Law

Join our current CPE and LLB students at Manchester Metropolitan University's exclusive Masterclass Series to HKU SPACE students. This year techonology law expert Christopher Sykes will share with us how advanced techology now available at the consumer level can have its implications in the modern legal system. This one hour session aims to serve as an introduction to law and technology. All levels welcome and no background knowledge required.

The Graduate Diploma in English and Hong Kong Law (CPE) and LLB (Hons) Hong Kong are the exempted courses under the Non-Local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance. It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognize any qualification to which these courses may lead.
