Mr Milton Poon
Mr Milton Poon has obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in French and European Studies at Hong Kong University. He has also attained the Diploma in French language studies (Diplôme d'université Français Langue Étrangère) at Stendhal University in France. Mr. Poon has been a French instructor at HKU SPACE since 2014. With his years of teaching experience and interactive lessons, Mr. Poon often receives positive feedback from his students.

Dr Carol Poon
Dr Carol Poon is Chairman of the Society of Transcultural Studies and Honorary Professor at Nagasaki Wesleyan University. She earned her PhD in International Cultural Studies from Tohoku University with a Japanese Government scholarship, following an MPhil in Japanese Studies at The University of Hong Kong, where she studied Japanese Popular Culture and Globalization. Poon has taught and conducted research at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Waseda University. After returning to Hong Kong, she joined The Open University of Hong Kong (now Hong Kong Metropolitan University), where she developed programs and established a Center for Japanese Language and Cultural Studies, focusing on interdisciplinary research in cultural studies, gender studies, and globalization theory.

Dr Chan Wing Cheong
Dr. Joseph Chan holds a PhD in Chinese History of Science. With support from Joint Publishing (Hong Kong) Ltd., he published a book Gu jin li shu kao古今曆術考 on Chinese traditional astronomy and calendrical science in 2013. In recent years he was interviewed by TVB programmes “The Seasons of Life” and “Sunday Report”on topics about Chinese traditional calendar. His research focus includes Chinese ancient astronomy and astrology, and the transmission of European astronomy to China.

Dr Amy Sze
Master of Music from the Eastman School of Music, where she was awarded the prestigious Performer’s Certificate. Prior to that, she had studied at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts since the age of ten. Her most important teachers include Gabriel Kwok, Nelita True and John Perry. She enjoys a successful career as a performing artist, teacher, and advocate of contemporary music. She is currently on the piano faculty of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and Hong Kong Baptist University.
Mr Stephen Wong
Stephen Wong's formal music training includes Royal College of Music London, UK an received Master of Music from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. He has performed extensively in Canada, United States and also in Marboro Music Festival and Rome Chamber Music Festival. A much sought-after pianist in both solo and ensemble concerts, his collaborative artists include Amy Sze (piano), Nancy Yuen (soperano) and Martin Choy (clarinet). He currently teaches at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University, The University of Hong Kong and The Education University of Hong Kong. Apart from performing and teaching, he has been involved in movie soundtrack composing and recording.

Prof Yuen-yi Lo
Prof Lo Yuen Yi was trained in Communication Design and Fine Art in Hong Kong, Italy and the UK respectively. Most of her artworks are in the form of drawing or visual ethnography, taking on scripts and graphics and old objects, while her writing explores such themes as art and culture, feminism and oral history. Her book publications include: One Day (City . Scenery) (2022); Whispers (Macau Elderly Women’s Oral History) (2020); Traces （Drawing . Objects）(2019); Beautiful Era – 21 Letters to the Artists (2017); Love Messages across the Centuries: 21 Letters to Parisian Artists (2013); Drawing the Writing (2012); A Room (2011); A Journal of Nüshu, Women’s Script (2003).
Dr Sheng Hung
Currently Programme Manager at HKU SPACE, Dr Hung Sheng holds a PhD in Visual Studies from Lingnan University. Her research focuses on the history and aesthetics of twentieth-century Chinese and Hong Kong art, as well as community art and art education in various settings. She has taught part-time at Lingnan University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Art School.

Mr Chairman is a designpreneur, professional graphic and event production designer who founded the "Hong Kong Do Design Worse Than... Association" (HKDDWTESA) and its popular "Cozy Up and Avoid Hard Work Group" on a local discussion forum in 2019 and 2011 respectively. With over 86.8K members and followers on Facebook and Instagram, the Association aims to vent the frustrations of Hong Kong design practitioners.
Mr Leo Chan
Leo Chan is the Programme Leader of various design programmes at HKU SPACE, and is a member of Hong Kong Designers Association. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong Federation of Design and Creative Industries. With over 18 years of experience in visual communication, graphic design, typography, branding, and strategic design, Leo has been selected twice as one of the "40 Under 40" in the Graphics and New Media category and has been acknowledged by the HKSAR Government as a new generation Hong Kong designer in 2010.

Mak Yiu Wah, Bilan
Mr. Mak started his legal career in 1986 as a trainee solicitor and was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1988. In 1995, he pursued a Master of Laws program at the University of Queensland. Rachel Li is the Head of Case Management and Research at HELP for Domestic Workers. She is a Hong Kong-qualified lawyer who holds a double degree in Literature and Law from the University of Hong Kong. As a public interest lawyer, she has experience in employment law, immigration and asylum law, criminal law, public policy, and legislative reform. Christopher Sykes is an alumnus of Manchester Law School who later on qualified as a solicitor specialising in criminal defence. His expertise is in innovation in law, and in the education of future lawyers who has recently been appointed as the Deputy AI Lead for the Faculty of Business & Law.
