Occupational safety and health (OSH) are crucial in safeguarding life and well-being of workers. Self-development through taking OSH courses is beneficial to personal development, improving one’s career pathway and enhancing safety awareness among family. Various contributions can be made to the society when practicing in the field of OSH. This ranges from protecting worker’s safety and health in industrial settings or construction sites, developing innovative solutions such as drones, to being law developers or enforcers by joining the government as registered safety officers or occupational hygienists. This talk is going to focus on benefits of OSH on individual, family and societal levels, which eventually leads to better safety culture in the society.
