    Ms Catherine Au

    Ms Catherine Au is a seasoned floral designer and instructor, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Continuing and Professional Education at City University of Hong Kong, as well as at the Hong Kong Vocational Training Council and Institut de Artflor. Since 2001, she has dedicated herself to floral art education, combining practical training with experience in the commercial floral industry. Catherine has received the Outstanding Instructor Award from the Hong Kong Employees Retraining Board and has contributed to the Qualifications Framework as a specialist for the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications. She is a certified member of the American Institute of Floral Designers and a judge for the Dutch Floral Design exams in Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen. Recently, Catherine has focused on developing sustainable floral art education, emphasizing design concepts and green techniques rooted in European floral traditions.

    Ms Janice Chick

    Ms Janice Chick, Bachelor of Education (Honours), has over 30 years of educational experience. Specializing in Dutch floral design since the 1990s, she has attained the DFA Floral Design Instructor and ADFA Advanced Floral Design Professional qualifications. She began teaching the DFA Dutch Floral Design Programme in 2002. Since earning her DFA Judge qualification in 2022, she has focused on professional assessment and mentorship, guiding students to professional standards by integrating education with floristry.

    Mr Chokri Alaya comes from Tunisia, one of the most liberal and secular Islamic countries in the world. He has been following the Islamic faith since childhood, being very well acquainted with the Quran and the sayings of Prophet Mohammad. Mr Alaya is highly commended by the Chief Imam Hong Kong as a ‘highly valuable member of the Islamic community and the society in Hong Kong’. He has been assisting and serving the Islamic community in the city in various aspects, both through the work of the Kowloon Mosque and Islamic Centre and as a knowledgeable teacher. He has visited Makkah in Saudi Arabia twice for pilgrimage and provided administrative as well as advisory assistance for members of the Muslim community on pilgrimage matters. Besides, he provides assistance and advice for Halal certification in Hong Kong.

    Eric Kwong is a Programme Director at HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE) and is currently the executive committee member of the Society of Japanese Languae Education Hong Kong. He has extensive experience in teaching Japanese language and Japanese culture, and has been in charge of the Associate of Arts in Languages and Humanities (Japanese Studies Theme) for many years. He was awarded the Outstanding Teacher Award of the HKU SPACE International College in 2018 and won the “Best Paper Award” in the 9th Biennial Convention of the Pacific and Asian Communication Association in 2012.

    Ms Alexandra Freigang-Krause is originally from Germany and has amassed nearly 30 years of experience in the field of education. She embarked on her career at the Emil-von-Behring Gymnasium in Spardorf, Germany, where she taught English and French. Over the years, her dedication and commitment led her to gain additional accreditation and take on roles with increasing levels of responsibility. Since 2019, she has served as the Head of Professional Development in Social Studies, Languages and Arts as part of the Management Team at Bavaria's central institution of teacher training. Throughout her tenure in the United States, France, and her current role, Ms Freigang-Krause has cultivated a deep interest in interculturality and bilingualism. Her passion and expertise in these areas further strengthen her school’s commitment to fostering a culturally diverse and inclusive environment. She is devoted to equipping her students with the necessary skills to excel in an interconnected world where an appreciation for different cultures Is vital.

    Ms Chan obtained her Bachelor's degree in English and her Master's degree in English Applied Linguistics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has professional experience both as an English teacher and a research assistant in Hong Kong. Over ten years ago, she relocated to Germany with her husband and is now based in Berlin. While raising her three children, she continues to teach various languages and remains actively involved in language education and translation work.

    Local tattoo artist Jimmy Yuen has over 20 years of experience and is the founder of Ring the Bell. He has won the Black & Grey category championship at the Hong Kong Tattoo Convention for two consecutive years. His artistic achievements have attracted numerous celebrity clients, including Sammi Cheng, Nick Cheung, William Chan, and Leah Dou. His RGB Academy is Hong Kong’s first tattoo school. Through hosting annual international tattoo art exhibitions and professional courses, it strives to promote cultural exchange in tattoo art, showcasing its depth and breadth as a unique art form.     Local tattoo artist Dust Wu is a veteran in Hong Kong’s tattoo scene with over 20 years of experience. He is the founder of Galaxy Tattoo HK and specializes in traditional Japanese style. His RGB Academy is Hong Kong’s first tattoo school, dedicated to promoting cultural exchange through annual international tattoo exhibitions and professional courses. He aims to change Hong Kong people’s fear and misconceptions about tattoos and become a key window for promoting tattoo culture, leading Hong Kong’s unique tattoo style to the world and making tattoos part of the artistic landscape.

    Ms Anki Suen

    Ms Anki Suen

    Anki is Hong Kong’s first award-winning female tattoo artist specializing in traditional Chinese ink painting style. In 2016, she transitioned from the field of window display design to creative tattoo art and apprenticed under Mr. Wong Hau Kwan, founder of Tattoo Hall. Between 2018 and 2020, Anki worked in the UK for in-depth tattoo training and to broaden her international perspective. She hopes to use her experience to inspire and promote the creative tattoo industry, preserve tattoo culture, and encourage positive development. Her works skillfully integrate traditional Chinese ink techniques with modern aesthetics, combining Eastern charm with contemporary beauty.     Professor William Swadling

    William Swadling is Professor of Law at Brasenose College, University of Oxford. He chairs the faculty's teaching groups in Restitution, Trusts, and Personal Property. Before coming to Oxford, he held posts at a number of other universities, including University College London and Trinity College, Cambridge. He is the editor of a number of books, including The Quistclose Trust: Critical Essays. He is particularly interested in the intersection between trusts/property and restitution, and a number of his articles on this topic have been cited in the English courts, most notably in Westdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale v Islington LBC [1996] AC 669. He is a contributor to Halsbury's Laws of England (4th ed, reissue), and wrote the section entitled 'Property' in Burrows (ed), English Private Law (3rd ed, 2013). He is also an academic associate at One Essex Court (chambers of Lord Grabiner QC), a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne, an elected member of the American Law Institute, and an academic member of the Chancery Bar Association.

He holds numerous academic qualifications, including PhD in Safety and Health Management from the University of Hong Kong, Master's degree in Applied Science in Occupational Safety Management from the University of Western Sydney, Master's degree in Business Administration from the Asian International Open University and Diploma in Occupational Hygiene from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He leads a team and has directed digital twins demos, combining simulations with visualizations to support efficiency and innovation. Since 2021, as team leader, he has supported BIM and digital twins on projects such as the Hong Kong Palace Museum and North Lantau Hospital Infection Control Centre. His main focus includes developing workflows and APIs for seamless project integration, optimizing simulations for timelines and costs, and leveraging VR/AR for enhanced reviews and client decisions.

    Ms Yuen Ting Ting received her Master degree of Music Therapy from the University of Melbourne in 2018. She is a registered music therapist with the Australian Music Therapy association. During her study in Melbourne, she had placements and provided music therapy services at different organisations and hospitals, including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and paediatric wards in the Children‘s hospital, day care centre for the adults with profound intellectual and physical disabilities, the elderly centre, etc. Ting Ting is currently providing music therapy services to different organisations and schools in Hong Kong. Her clients include the pre-school children who have special needs, SEN students in primary, secondary schools and special schools, adults with physical and intellectual disabilities, adolescents & adults with mental health issues and the elderly. She also has the experiences to conduct workshops and trainings to the parents, teachers, university students, social workers and staff members to advocate music therapy.
