    Mr. Michael Cheng, Corporate Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport in Hong Kong, and Hong Kong Sea Transport and Logistics Association

    In his career as a seasoned specialist, Michael has spent about 20 years in managing different types of transport and logistics services. His expertise covers a wide spectrum of sectors including the government fleets, shipping, retail distributions, and 3rd party logistics. Since 2003 he switched his interest to academic and research in logistics with significant contributions in the related discipline. In such period, Michael also took part in several research projects conducted by the Geography Department of HKU, to explore the transformation of maritime logistics in Hong Kong and the PRD region. Outputs of such studies were published in international academic and professional journals. Currently he is a part-time lecturer of HKU SPACE and PHD Candidate in Economic Geography of the Hong Kong Baptist University.
