The MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice provides integrative approach to learning that enables participants to translate the theoretical knowledge and concepts underpinning coaching and mentoring into their own practice. Its central aim is to give opportunities for the expansion of knowledge and understanding of theories and then to relate that knowledge to the skills and approaches necessary to develop professionally as a coach or mentor. With a unique blend of tutor and individual coach-supervisor support participants are supported in applying their skills and knowledge in practice in a variety of different working contexts.

He holds the esteemed designation of Certified Transformational Coach, further enhancing his capabilities in guiding and empowering individuals and organizations. Currently, Derek serves as a Consulting Manager at SAS Institute Ltd., a leading provider of analytics software and services. With over two decades of experience in IT system integration and implementation, he leads the AML consulting team at SAS APAC, overseeing the delivery and support of the SAS AML sites including 30+ in Hong Kong. In 2020, Derek authored the book “Anti-Money Laundering Transaction Monitoring Systems Implementation: Finding Anomalies”, published by Wiley and SAS Business Series.

麥善恆博士
麥博士於 Fano.ai 擔任數據科學家及資深研究科學家逾六年，主導粵語、普通話及英語三語文字轉語音等核心產品研發，並從事語音處理、機器學習及數據工程等多項前沿工作。其後於 Pantheon Lab 擔任 AI 研究員，開發離線串流文字轉語音模型，應用於數碼人整合；並於 OOCL 擔任數據科學家，探索語音 AI 技術及 LLM 評測方案，支援智能代理（Agentic）流程中的應用。 麥博士現為HKU SPACE兼職導師，教授「金融與商業提示工程」證書課程，涵蓋 Vibe Coding、大型語言模型、AI Agent 及 n8n、Zapier 等實戰工具。他持有倫敦帝國學院生物統計學博士學位，亦是超過 20 篇學術論文的共同作者。

David Ngai
David Ngai is the Managing Director at State Street Bank and Trust Company, overseeing Compliance practice in the Asia-Pacific region for Markets, and serving as Alternate Chief Executive for the Hong Kong Branch. On top of governance, David is also responsible for the managing of the relationships with the Regulators and Central Banks from Market Infrastructure, and Supervisory perspective. Previously, he was Managing Director for the Asia Pacific Global FX Division of the Global Financial Markets Association, representing major international banks engaging with Regulators and Central Banks on FX market practices, and transparency requirements such as the FX Global Code. David holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Development from the University of Birmingham, is a qualified accountant, and has regulatory and regional compliance managerial experience from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission’s Enforcement Division, and other globally systemic important banks for both Equity and FICC markets.

Mr Ivan Law brings over two decades of combined experience in education, applied data science, and the finance industry, with a proven track record of empowering learners to master in-demand technical skills. Holding a BEng in Computer Science from HKUST and an MSc in Financial Management from the University of London, Ivan leverages his interdisciplinary background to make complex data science concepts accessible to students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. As a part-time lecturer at CityU SCOPE, he has delivered over 2,100 instructional hours across 8 cohorts of adult learners, specializing in Python, Pandas, NumPy, data visualization (Matplotlib/Seaborn/Plotly), and AI/ML foundations.
