Career SPACE Online Talk Series: Everyone can be a changemakerEvent Recap
- 16 Jul 2020 (Thu)
HKU SPACE held another Career SPACE online talk on 14 July on YouTube.
In response to the currently unstable situation in Hong Kong, Mr David Yeung, the founder of Green Monday, spoke on the topic of ‘Everyone can be a changemaker’. He shared his personal journey and experiences in facing and overcoming challenges in his career, and how he decided to change jobs and dedicate himself to Green Monday. This is a movement that encourages people to have one meat-free day per week. Mr Yeung introduced meat alternatives to the Hong Kong food market and developed his own brand of plant-based meat called OmniPork. It was a wonderful talk for the audience and encouraged everyone to take a step closer to being a change-maker in their career and regain their mojo.
The talk is well-received by more than 200 live viewers, and gained over 1,000 roll-over views.
