Highlights

This workshop series is designed for complete beginners of the Spanish language and offers participants a first taste of Spanish, focusing on oral communication, basic grammar and lexicon. The participants will practise the language in an interactive environment, while learning the culture of Spanish-speaking countries and their habitants. There is a little cultural surprise in the last session of the workshop series.

Why Spanish?

  • Spanish is the world's second-most spoken native language with its official status in Spain and 19 countries in Latin America.
  • If you speak one Romance language (Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian and Romanian), it will be much easier for you to learn them all.
  • Learning Spanish gives you a great advantage for World Exploration. For example, Spain alone has 48 UNESCO heritage sites and Mexico has 35.
  • You will gain access to world-class literature and films such as “Cienaños de soledad”, “Todosobre mi madre” and “Mar adentro”.
  • You can probably fill your life with more positivity by tapping into different types of dance and music in Spanish, such as Spanish flamenco and Cuban jazz.
