FAQ

1) Do I need to have IT background for taking the module “Information Technology Safety and Frauds Prevention “?

Basically the module " Information Technology Safety and Frauds Prevention " is not a technical course. There is no programming or other IT technical skills required in the syllabus.

But students are expected having fundamental computer knowledge, such as using computers, surfing on the internet like e-banking, e-shopping; social media like Facebook, Instagram etc..

The teaching strategy is from the fundamental to the advanced.  There are students who come from the business administration field (E.g. BBA in their bachelor degree), and they have a good academic performance of this module.
