We offer a range of corporate administration and goverance programmes, from short courses (e.g. HKCGI examinations preparatory courses) to advanced diploma programme. These programmes provide pathways to articulate to bachelor degrees, postgraduate degrees and professional qualifications. The aim of this programme is to provide advanced knowledge and key skills which enable the company secretaries or governance professionals to perform as chief adviser to the board, management and other stakeholders on corporate governance’s best practice. Furthermore, act as the facilitator for the application of good governance through a wide range of organisations and corporation. It also prepares candidates to write the professional examinations of the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme, which is recognized worldwide. It is the students' responsibility to determine whether they are eligible to participate in the CGQP examination.
The aim of this programme is to provide a comprehensive foundation in the principles and concepts of the legal framework governing business organisations, with particular focus on the registered company. It intends to enable students to consolidate and apply the knowledge learnt and identify relationship relevant to company law, corporate governance and to prepare candidates to write the professional examinations of the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme, which is recognized worldwide. It is the students' responsibility to determine whether they are eligible to participate in the CGQP examination.
The aim of this programme is for students to develop, evaluate and apply the knowledge and concept in the discipline of risk management, including how risk management links to compliance management which enhance effective corporate governance in corporations, organisations and prepare candidates to write the professional examinations of the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme, which is recognized worldwide. It is the students' responsibility to determine whether they are eligible to participate in the CGQP examination.
The aim of this programme is to equip students with the required knowledge in accounting and finance to interpret financial and accounting information. With the knowledge learnt, they would be able to provide advice to the company board or similar decision making body in term of company strategy development, decision-making and direction and to prepare candidates to write the professional examinations of the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme, which is recognized worldwide. It is the students' responsibility to determine whether they are eligible to participate in the CGQP examination.
The aim of this programme is for students to develop their knowledge and skills in compliance and governance. The knowledge and skills learnt prepare them for practice as a governance professional or a company secretary in a private, a non-governmental or a public listed companies and to prepare candidates to write the professional examinations of the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme, which is recognized worldwide. It is the students' responsibility to determine whether they are eligible to participate in the CGQP examination.
The role of a company secretary becomes more important nowadays, especially those working in listed and non-listed companies in Hong Kong. Company secretary helps to promote best practices, and advise the Board of Directors on the latest development in regulatory and legal requirements and standards. Thus, a company secretary possessing good company secretarial knowledge would enable one to gain a competitive edge in one's career path.
