(a) a full-time or part-time locally accredited taught postgraduate programme awarded within the HKU System through HKU SPACE (i.e. an HKU SPACE Postgraduate Diploma/Postgraduate Certificate programme); or

(b) a full-time locally accredited postsecondary programme (i.e. an Associate Degree/Higher Diploma programme) offered by the HKU SPACE Community College or the HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College

Chinese residents of Macao may apply for a student visa if successfully admitted to:

(a) a full-time or part-time locally accredited taught postgraduate programme awarded within the HKU System through HKU SPACE (i.e. an HKU SPACE Postgraduate Diploma/Postgraduate Certificate programme); or

(b) a full-time locally accredited postsecondary programme (i.e. an Associate Degree/Higher Diploma progrmme) offered by the HKU SPACE Community College or the HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College; or

It is the responsibility of an applicant to make appropriate arrangements for visa application in a timely manner. A Mainland or Macao applicant who has been successfully admitted to an academic programme eligible for the issuance of a student visa should immediately approach the Programme Team to initiate visa application. At least two months should be allowed for processing.

Admission to an HKU SPACE academic programme does not guarantee the issue of a student visa.
