Dr Thomas Ng
Thomas Ng is a programme director at HKUSPACE, and teaches the Business Associations component of the Certificate in Legal Studies. He has also taught on many other law courses at HKU SPACE, and is happy to answer any questions you may have about studying law.

This is an excellent preparation course for students who are seeking to achieve the IELTS overall band score of 7, as a requirement for admission to the PCLL.
Additionally, we provide law students and junior practitioners, through IELTS test skills practice, with a higher level of proficiency and command of English which is vital for legal professionals.
Students will:
- gain a thorough knowledge of the structure and requirements of the IELTS test
- master different approaches and strategies that are needed to succeed in IELTS.
- obtain timed practice in attempting every section of the test
- practise speed reading strategies to cope with reading texts and questions
- learn how to avoid common mistakes when answering test questions
- review and practise key grammar and vocabulary for writing tasks
- prepare students for the listening and speaking components of the IELTS.
- get a clear idea of strengths and weaknesses in four skills to help plan a better study approach
