Mr. Huang Naiwei

Mr. Huang Naiwei

Mr. Huang Naiwei is one of the most promising pianists in Hong Kong. His improvisational playing has been highly praised by the renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, who described him as an “impressive talent.” The legendary Chinese piano maestro Liu Shikun also commended him as one of the few pianists today capable of improvising across various musical styles. Huang has performed solo concerts and delivered masterclasses throughout Asia and Europe. He has collaborated with orchestras such as the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, and Hong Kong City Chamber Orchestra, as well as with conductors like Tan Dun, Leung Kin-fung, and Zhang Zhen. He was also invited to perform at festivals, including the Mozart 260th Anniversary series, the Shanghai Spring International Music Festival, the Shenzhen International Piano Festival, and Art Basel. Additionally, he has served as a judge in various competitions. Huang received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music, majoring in piano, at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) under Professor Gabriel Kwok. He also studied under the legendary pianist and educator Dmitri Bashkirov at the summer piano academy at Mozarteum University of Salzburg. He now works as a part-time instructor at HKAPA, a guest lecturer at the University of Hong Kong School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE), and a council member of the Greater Bay Area Art Education Association.

Mr. Jean-Baptiste Déal

Mr. Jean-Baptiste Déal

Mr. Jean-Baptiste Déal graduated from Université Paris XII and obtained his master’s degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He has also studied Mandarin at the Beijing Language and Culture University. As a native French speaker fluent in English and Mandarin, he is passionate about teaching and cross-cultural communication. Throughout his teaching career in Hong Kong’s public schools and language institutions, he has skillfully integrated the communication and negotiation principles from his book Winning with Ancient Wisdom: Negotiation Strategies from Asia and Europe, inspiring learners to approach language as both an art of expression and a bridge between cultures.

Dr. Rosa Kwok

Dr. Rosa Kwok

Dr. Rosa Kwok is an Honorary Research Fellow at University College London and holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of York, where she studied on a scholarship. With over fourteen years of experience in early childhood education research, she has in recent years focused on promoting positive psychology within the community, applying research-based insights to support education and family well-being. A passionate musician, Dr. Kwok holds an ATCL Piano Recital Diploma and the ABRSM Grade 8 Theory qualification. Having studied the flute and the guzheng since childhood, she integrates her academic expertise with her musical background, bringing a distinctive depth and perspective to her research in child psychology.

Ms. Theresa Wong

Ms. Theresa Wong

Ms. Theresa Wong is not only a soprano with a warm and beautiful tone, but also a messenger who spreads love and hope through her singing. Her passion for music has driven her to pursue vocal artistry with unwavering determination. Through tireless effort, she successfully earned the Grade 8 Vocal Diploma from the Royal College of Music (UK) in 2013, laying a solid foundation of classical training for all her performances. Ms. Wong’s musical journey began with her faith. Since her youth, she has served in the Holy Family Church Choir at Choi Hung Estate and has continued to sing with the Cecilia Choir at St. Anthony’s Church for decades. Committed to using her voice in ministry, she has regularly visited hospitals and nursing homes over the years, bringing comfort to patients and the lonely with her soothing voice.

Ms. Odilia Kwok

Ms. Odilia Kwok

Ms. Odilia Kwok holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Nottingham (UK), a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of York (UK), and a Master’s Degree in Music from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has taught the distance-learning Bachelor of Psychology programme provided by the University of Northern Iowa, served as a visiting lecturer for the University of Sunderland’s Master of Psychology program, and as a visiting lecturer at HKU SPACE. Odilia has held training manager roles at multinational corporations including Cartier, Louis Vuitton, and Ernst & Young Professional Services; she also served as Senior Training Manager at local firms New World and Puyi Optical, delivering courses on communication, sales, and management. In her spare time, Odilia teaches flute and piano, holding Grade 8 diplomas from the ABRSM (UK) in flute, piano, and singing; her students have consistently achieved distinctions in these exams. Beyond her professional and educational pursuits, Kwok is passionate about the stage and actively participates in professional performances. Her credits include commercial advertisements and self-media projects, as well as leading roles in two film works: the 2025 movie “Bonds Across A Century” opposite Joel Chan, and the lead in the Now TV Now True Original documentary “Possessed”.
